GEN2+ IMAGE INTENSIFIER TUBE

The QCNV Q4 series of Gen2+ image intensifier tubes amplifies available light to provide visible images in low-light environments. With green and white phosphor options, the series offers configuration choices for night vision device manufacturers and system integrators. Explore the specifications below to select a tube for your optical system and application requirements.

QCNV Q4 IIT

Key Features

Three Performance Grades

Choose Q4-B, Q4-A or Q4-A+, with FOM ranges of 1,400–1,600, 1,600–1,800 and 1,800–2,000, respectively. All three grades offer resolution of ≥64 lp/mm.

Four Configuration Options

Available in 2-contact, 3-contact, pigtail cable and integrated-type configurations. Select the appropriate format to match your device’s mechanical and electrical requirements.

Green & White Phosphor

Choose P43 green phosphor or P45 white phosphor to suit your preferred image appearance and night vision system configuration.

Power Supply & Gain Options

Power supply options include non-gated and auto-gated versions, with external gain or brightness adjustment options depending on the selected configuration.

Grade-Based Signal-to-Noise Ratio

Minimum SNR is ≥22 for Q4-B, ≥25 for Q4-A and ≥29 for Q4-A+, providing defined performance levels for your low-light imaging requirements.

Wide Operating Temperature Range

Specified for operation from −45°C to +55°C and storage from −45°C to +70°C, with a tube weight of ≤75 g.
