NIGHT VISION LENS · EYEPIECE ASSEMBLY

Key Features

Lightweight Eyepiece

With a weight of ≤ 57 g, the eyepiece keeps its contribution to overall device weight low.

25 mm Eye Relief

A specified 25 mm eye relief provides viewing clearance between the eye and the eyepiece.

40° Field of View

Offers a field of view of ≥ 40° for a 17.5 mm image format, supporting an expansive view of the displayed scene.

Large On-Axis Exit Pupil

An on-axis exit pupil diameter of ≥ 14 mm provides a generous pupil aperture for eye alignment.

Aspherical Glass Optics

Uses glass optical elements, including aspherical glass, with an effective focal length of 25.1 ± 0.5 mm.

Immersion Resistance

The eyepiece assembly is specified for immersion at 20 m for at least 2 hours.

02 Bright-Light Comparison

Examine flare patterns, reflections, and surrounding detail when a bright light source appears within the field of view.

Optical Test Views

Five reference views highlight different aspects of the image, from grid geometry to fine detail at the center and edge.

Grid target showing line geometry and brightness across the field

01 Distortion & Vignetting

A grid target provides a reference for line curvature and spacing, while the full image shows brightness falloff toward the edges.

QCNV blank background view showing brightness distribution

02 Blank Background

A plain background makes variations in brightness and shading easier to observe across the image field.

QCNV view of concentric zone reticle circles

03 Zone Reticle

Concentric reference circles help locate central, intermediate, and peripheral regions when examining brightness across the field.

04 Center Resolution Test

A resolution target at the center provides a visual reference for fine-line separation and central image detail.

05 Edge Resolution Test

A target near the edge provides a reference for off-axis detail and changes in sharpness away from the image center.

Images are provided for visual reference. Appearance depends on the complete optical system, image intensifier, lighting, focus, and camera settings. These images alone do not establish quantitative lens performance or identical test conditions.
